Business Law is an interesting and fun subject. We will learn most of the necessary substantive areas of law involved in operating a business and gain some practical entrepreneurial skills involved in deciding the appropriate forms of business entities, registering trade names and trade marks, finding a suitable location and complying with government paper work. We try to involve some role playing to explore our own thoughts of the ethics and morality involved in business and determine how they interact with the profit motive.
The course will be taught during the Fall Session 2011. The class (13410) meets Monday and Wednesday at the Northwest Campus from 1610 until 1725 in A-110.
